Mysql database corrupt.

I’ve been moving a lot site lately, and one of my sites are running phpBB…
But when trying to move the database, there was no way that I could dump it.
I knew for a fact that it was about 50M in size, but the dump kept on pushing beyond 2G (or actually until I hit Ctrl+C).

So for future reference;

mysqlcheck -h server_name -u user_name -p mysqlcheck_option database_name
where:

server_name is the MySQL server host name, in this case is localhost as your MySQL server is hosted under your VPS.
user_name is the database user name.
database_name is database name you want to check.
mysqlcheck_option is the option to pass to mysqlcheck. And here are some common options:
–check –quick : to perform a quick check of all tables in the database
–check –extended : to perform an extended check of all tables in the database
–repair –quick : to perform a quick repair of all tables in the database
–repair –extended : to perform an extended repair of all tables in the database
