Once in a while, a get bit of the backup-bug… that is usually a bit later, or some bad scenarios in my head are being played out.. Fortunately this time I’m just being proactive, for once! But trying to get a good backup routine of the unifi controller should be quite easy.
It’s a good explanation of it over at http://wiki.ubnt.com/UniFi…. Not that I like putting my password in clear text in a config file, and there should definitely be another way to create a backup, but this looked like a quick fix for now…
Surely it did work as expected…
curl: (35) error:14077438:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:tlsv1 alert internal error
Quick fix? add -sslv3 to the curl_cmd line, should look like this after your edited the file.
curl_cmd=”curl –cookie /tmp/cookie –cookie-jar /tmp/cookie –insecure -sslv3 “
No it’s time to get irritated… Trying to be a good guy, I’ll like to share this small comment on the Unifi Wiki page, so I get around, register an account, confirm my email, and surfs over to the wiki pages. Let’s get editing…

What? Ain’t that the whole point of having a wiki pages, at least give me the option on comment / discuss a page… or at least give me a link where I can request a change or something… I like Unifi, but this really sucked… Even the community part is no editable…..
